Our love of the water leads us not only to the shore, but out across lagoons, rivers, lakes, bays, bayous, and oceans. And our choice of vessel is as vast as the bodies of water we explore.

The smallest of boats—kayaks, canoes and rowboats—rely on human propulsion. Sailboats, from the smallest dinghies to the elegant racing yachts, go where the wind blows. Whether fishing boats or cruisers, powerboats are often the choice when people need to get somewhere quickly. And personal watercraft, such as jet skis, are popular with beach vacationers all over the world.

You don’t have to own a yacht in the French Riviera to love boating. From the Caribbean to Lake Geneva, the Mississippi River to Lake Michigan, the Yangtze River to the Everglades—there are plenty of places to get on the water.
