Donna is the editorial director for TravelMuse. She fell in love with travel as a child and firmly believes in the importance of regular family vacations.
After more than 10 years in less-than-satisfying corporate jobs, Donna took a year off to backpack through Southeast Asia in 1999 and has been writing about travel ever since. She’s the former executive editor/travel editor for Incentive magazine, and her work has appeared in Travel+Leisure (marketing), Metro New York and Metro Boston newspapers, MeetingNews, Successful Meetings and Sales & Marketing Management.
Her favorite places include Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Spain, Nicaragua and Tahiti, as well as New York, Taos and Chicago, stateside. Her most recent trips were to Argentina and Beijing, and she is longing to go on sabbatical in India. Favorite activities include a rugged hike followed by a smooth, single malt scotch. When she’s not globetrotting, she splits her time between homes in Cupertino, Calif., and Brooklyn, N.Y.
